RESPECT FOR THE GAME. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will respect the game of baseball and anyone who participates in it, including opposing players and opposing coaches. If another team or coach fails to act with class, that will be their problem, not ours. We will remain gentlemen and good sports at all times. We will especially respect umpires. It is their job to uphold the rules, which are written to protect the integrity of the game. A Dragon will never display emotion or otherwise act in a manner that disrespects an umpire.

RESPECT FOR OURSELVES AND EACH OTHER. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will respect our teammates, coaches and parents, and will never question another teammate’s ability, desire, hustle or intentions. We never act in anger toward a teammate.

SPORTSMANSHIP. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will play with class and good sportsmanship always. We will exit the field after every game showing grace and maturity whether we win or lose. We will display good sportsmanship before, during and after games, and will always remember that character is a key ingredient of ability.

DISCIPLINE. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will respect the Dallas Dragons program and coaches, and we will play with equal parts discipline, preparation & enthusiasm.

ON TIME & 100% EFFORT. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will not waste our practice time, or the practice time of our teammates, by being late. We will remember that skills are developed in practice and displayed in games, and that players play the way they have practiced. Accordingly, we will give 100% effort in practice, every practice.

FAIL WITH CLASS, WIN WITH DIGNITY. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will react with maturity and try to learn from the experience. We will not throw bats or batting helmets. As Dallas Dragons, we will expect to play well, and expect to succeed, but we will never willingly do so at the expense of the dignity of another athlete or team. We will respect and treat with friendship any athlete or team that participates in the game of baseball.

RESPECT FOR THE PROGRAM. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will not disrespect the Dallas Dragons program, team or coaches by trying out or playing for other baseball teams – other than our own high school team – while a member of the Dallas Dragons.

RESPECT FOR PARENTS. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will thank our parents for support they provide and sacrifices they make so that we can play the magnificent game of baseball.

RESPECT FOR TEACHERS. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will maintain passing grades in school, and we will treat every teacher and administrator with respect.

WE REPRESENT A LARGER FAMILY. As Dallas Dragons athletes, we will remember that we represent our team, our coaches, our familes, our schools, our cities and our state in every action we take, and will strive to represent all of them with character and integrity.

  PERSONAL CONDUCT.   We will remember, always, that we are a team.  Players and Parents who are detrimental to the program will be asked to leave.
